Acting as Attorney

If you want to make Lasting Powers of Attorney but are not able to appoint any family member or friend as your Attorney, you could appoint Allied Services Trust to act on your behalf.  We can only take appointment as an Attorney for a Property and Financial Affairs Lasting Power of Attorney.

If you decide to appoint Allied Services Trust as your Attorney, you have the surety of continuation of service as you would be appointing an organisation rather than an individual.

If you appoint Allied Services Trust as your Attorney, we would only act according to your instruction.  We will always act in your best interests.

You will be appointed a  dedicated case worker from within the organisation who will work closely with you to will develop a positive professional working relationship taking into account your needs, wishes and instructions.

We already act as Attorney for many satisfied clients.  We are well respected and receive a growing number of referrals to act as an Attorney from individuals, local authorities, the NHS, social workers, clinicians, older person’s mental health teams, Admiral Nurses, Dementia UK, the Alzheimer’s Society and Age UK.

We do charge for acting as your Attorney, we only charge for the work we do and our fees depend on the level of service you need from us.  We charge on a not-for-profit basis so are affordable.  We offer charitable discounts for those whose income is below £12,000.00 and who have savings below £23,250.00, and further reductions to those on exempting benefits.
